Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can ask us to delete it. We keep it short and in plain words.
Who we are
Upperture Interactive is a brand of Upperture Enterprises (“we”, “us”), based in Pune, India. Registered address: [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].
What this policy covers
- Visitors to this website.
- Clients: businesses that hire us or use our software.
- Our clients’ customers: people who message a client’s business, for example on WhatsApp, where we run the system that handles those messages for the client.
For our clients’ customers, the client decides why and how their data is used, and we process it only on the client’s instructions. If you are a client’s customer, the client’s own privacy policy also applies to you.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and what you tell us about your project.
- When we work for a client: the business information and files the client shares with us, such as price lists, documents and spreadsheets.
- From WhatsApp and other Meta platforms, when a client connects their account to a system we run for them: message content (text, images, voice notes and files), the sender’s name, phone number or profile ID, and message delivery status.
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Its fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
How we use it
- To reply to you and to plan, build and support the work a client asked for.
- To provide a client’s service: show their customers’ messages to the client’s team, turn order messages into structured orders, answer questions from the client’s own documents, and send replies, confirmations or reminders the customer asked for.
- To keep our systems secure and working, and to meet legal requirements.
Data from Meta platforms
We use data we receive from WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram only to provide the service to the client whose account it came from. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or profiling, or share it with any other client. We follow Meta’s Platform Terms and the WhatsApp Business policies. When a client disconnects their account or asks us to, we delete that data as described on our data deletion page.
AI processing
Some of our systems use AI models to read messages and documents, for example to pull the items and quantities out of a WhatsApp order. The relevant text is sent to the AI provider only to produce that result. We use providers whose business terms say they do not use this data to train their models. Before a system goes live, we tell the client exactly which AI providers it uses.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the service, and only as much as each one needs:
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), to send and receive messages.
- AI providers such as Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude), to process text as described above.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store data and run our systems: [HOSTING PROVIDERS, e.g. Google Cloud, Hostinger].
We may also disclose data if the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
Some of these providers process data outside India. When they do, we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 12 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client.
- Client and message data: for as long as we provide the service. We delete it within 30 days after the service ends or the client asks us to, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people working on that client’s system, and each client’s data is kept separate from every other client’s.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a complaint. Email [email protected]. If you are a customer of one of our clients, you can contact that business or us, and we will help the business respond. We reply within 30 days.
Grievance officer: [NAME], [email protected].
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell our clients directly.
